Getting Closer!!!!!

I hope you all are having a great start to the summer.  Just remember to hit those garage sales for Christmas items!!!

Here's a few things we will be doing over Labor Day.  EATING, Geo-caching for Christmas items, Christmas Minute to Win it, Ugliest Christmas clothing contest on Saturday night.  I'm hoping Howard will be doing the walk/run.  Sunday I hope to do the Christmas story with the kids as the actors - no speaking just looking cute.  Laura will be doing the "sermon" and of course Christmas carols.  If anyone has a favorite, let me know.

If you have a favorite or a snack you always make at Christmas bring it for Saturday night.  Chances are I will be making oreo balls - Levi's favorite.

Okay Lisa I've updated now if only YOU will update your blog!!!!!!!

alright already

Okay Nancy, this is for you.

Don't forget that garage sales are starting up so you know people will be getting rid of their Christmas decorations.  I've been hearing some good decorating ideas from some people.

I did a lot of after Christmas shopping for our camper and for the shelter house.  Just remember that I will have stockings for the kids (Mackenzie on down) to be filled with all kinds of goodies.

Not much else to report - I was just getting harassed at lunch about not updating.  If anyone knows how to do a countdown until the big event let me know and I'll add it.

Merry Christmas on Labor Day!!

Hello,  since it is my turn to host the VM annual Labor Day campout, I thought I would choose a Christmas Theme.  I will update here a couple of times when I get ideas of somethings we will do. The first one is everyone is invited to decorate their camper or tent in a Christmas theme.  You can do from Scrooge to Time the Tool Man decorating.  We might have some judges coming around to check it out.  Judging will take place Saturday night so you don't have to do it all on Friday night.  We will play Minute to Win It and do some Christmas crafts.  Also I will be getting stockings for all the kids - Mackenzie on down - and if you wish you may bring something to put in all of them - nothing big - just some little cheap things.  This is all optional so don't feel like you have to do it.

SO, check out the garage sales, thrift stores (except the one I work at) and after Christmas sales to get some bargins.

See you in September
